Activity additions to the School Master Calendar for the month of February are:

D-T will be wrestling at West Delaware -Manchester High School on WEDNESDAY, February 9th in the Regionald Duel Team Wrestling Tournament.  Wrestling begins at 6:00 p.m.

The District wrestling meet will be held at West Delaware in Manchester on Saturday, February 13th beginning at 12:00 noon.

NICL Varsity Boys Basketball Shootout RESCHEDULED to Friday vs. East Marshall @ UNI McLeod Center, 6:00 pm

JV/V BBB vs. Tripoli RESCHEDULED to Thursday, Feb. 11th at Denver, 6:15 pm.  SENIOR NIGHT FOR BASKETBALL BOYS, GIRLS AND CHEERLEADERS.

The girls' basketball road to State has been set.  The girls will take on Nashua-Plainfield in the first round of Districts at Denver beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $5.00.  No passes allowed.

The second round for the girls' basketball team is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16th at Wapsie Valley beginning at 7:00.  The first round of Regional play is set for Friday, February 19th at N.U. High in Cedar Falls beginning at 7:00.  The final round of Regionals will be held on Monday, February 22 at Oelwein beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Admission is $5.00 for all games leading up to State.

The boys' basketball team has been set to play Aplington-Parkersburg in the first round of district play on Monday, February 15th.  This game will be played at Denver beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The second round for the boys' basketball team on their road to state will be played on Thursday, February 18th, location TBA.  Third round of districts will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Charles City.  The Substate game will be played on Saturday, February 27th at Cedar Falls High School beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Working on our district-wide climate culture - no harassment goal.  Students had a bag of "things" and their goal was to decorate their classroom door with only the stuff in the bag.
The Denver Cyclone Robotics team won the robot performance award and 2nd in the championship award. Team members are (L to R): Kameron Kehoe, Samantha Stokes, Courtney Steege, Lauren Stokes, Kyle Kehoe and Michael Steege.  They were coaches by Steve Kehoe and Scott Steege.
The TWISTED Team received technical award at the regional Lego League Tournament held in Cedar Falls on Saturday, Dec. 5th.  TWISTED will advance to the state Lego League Tournament held in Ames in January. TWISTED team members were Ryan Maitland, Cameron Corday, Sam Soda, Antonio Abel-Lipschutz, Megan Sue Smith, Alex Erickson, Andrew Feldt, Kristen Mundhenke.

Congratulations to the girls' cross country team for their 4th place finish at the       state meet.  They couldn't have done it without the unBEElievable support of their fellow Team Bees!!
